Angela joins Kim to share about her journey into a unique field of entrepreneurship-surrogacy. She also talks about building a business from the bottom up while raising a family.
Angela has always believed in empowering women to reach their full potential. She began her career as a journalist, following her passion for writing. Then she landed an unexpected job teaching English as a Second Language for the local school board. Her love for teaching children began her path of mindfulness and growth. When she got pregnant with her first daughter, she decided to spend the next six years as a stay-at-home mother, raising her four, beautiful children (all born in 3 years).
Angela began Canadian Surrogacy Community in 2016 with a big vision and a big heart. Angela is embarking on her third pregnancy as a surrogate and spends her workdays taking care of surrogates, and Intended Parents, and connecting with new dynamic women who align with the values of her programs.
Angela and her family live in a small community near Lake Huron, in Exeter, Ontario. She often describes her household as organized Chaos and writes her blog all about the inner worth of women, mindful parenting, entrepreneurship and everything in between. “Musings of Organized Chaos” is relatable to any parent trying to find balance in their home and women who truly need to hear that they are not alone in this world. Angela speaks about inner strength and the power of serving others in a life of gratitude.
