Dee joins Kim on the podcast to talk about social media and how entrepreneurs can still use it during these trying times to grow their business.
Dee Boswell-Buck always had a passion for entrepreneurship. In 2001 she launched her first business DeeBozzz Silks where she hand painted silk scarves and sold them in popular artisan shows in Ontario. She expanded her side-hustle online before social media and by 2008 had her work sold in over 100 gift shops in North America.
Years later, while on maternity leave Dee began her mom group The Mamalicious Mamas on and offline. Within one year, and when it was time to return to work had over 400 active members. This sparked her journey to go back to school to become Certified in social media marketing.
After 26 years in the retail sector, Dee left her full-time position to go all in as the full-time business owner of Boswell-Buck Creative. She helps primarily female entrepreneurs and creatives to use online strategies to increase their visibility and obtain leads.
Dee creates social media content with call-to-actions that inspires prospects to direct message and drive traffic to her client’s websites and landing pages and make purchases directly on the platforms. She provides solutions for website content that lets visitors know they’ve arrived in the right place and move them to connect.
